As we look ahead to the future, we envision Sri Guru Harkrishan International School, Gurdaspur as an institution where excellence in education means total development of children. We see school education as forming a sound foundation for life-long learning. All children can learn, and we devolp within each child the desire to learn, to know, to seek, and the ability to find the tools for it. This helps the become self sufficent, responsible and productive contributors to a complex, ever-changing the diverse society. In this endeavor, we have developed a challenging and supportive learning environment that capitalizes on the natural curiosity of children as they explore all parts of the curriculum and go beyond it in a process of self discovery.

Although we value academic success highly, however we also appriciate that other qualities are equally important to be successful in life. By creating a positive environment and a wide range of educational experiences, we provide opportunities for our pupils to achieve excellence in intellectual, practical, cultural and sporting pursuit.
